been a while since I was here!! I hope everyone is well!
I've got too many match rods and just need a few more quid for my savings pot!
sooo.... an awesome match rod indeed. great condition, in original bag and this one even comes with a factory reducer (very hard to find!). this rod is around 18 months old - possibly a max of 24 (i'll see if I can find receipts) and anyone who's seen my huge lack of catch reports this past 18 months will know just how little use it's had! maybe 20 trips?
has mighty bright eclipse from the tip to the 5th guide and comes with factory comfy coasters. great rod for sure and no doubt i'll regret selling it!
prefer local collection but will post, asking £180 (cost me nearer £300!)
NOW, having properly looked it over and being VERY funicky about it..... there are a few more marks than I thought / expected, nothing particularly detrimental to the look of the rod, certainly nowt that would affect its use, just tripod stuff really - fine scratches on butt section and a few slightly heavier (in comparison) marks on the first 12" of tip section - prob from where rod has missed cup and rested on the ali bar when hurrying to unhook fish?
Will chuck in a pack of tripod foam!
